Antiquity

The studies of Antiquity focus on ancient Greece and Rome, from the fifth-century BC to the fifth-century AD. Students learn about the political, social, and financial structures that took place throughout this period, from its inception to the onset of the Middle Ages. Moreover, the studies in our department engage in the study of the period’s culture, learning poetry, arts, philosophy, rhetoric, geography, and religion.
